FORMATS

Larry Ammann- The Art of Remote Sensing

The images shown on these pages are available as fine art Giclee prints on high-quality, acid-free watercolor paper resulting in spectacular prints that capture all of the detail contained in the images. In addition, the texture of the pigment on this paper adds a dimension to the images that cannot be matched by any other format.

These prints are offered in standard sizes of 17x22, 23x33 and 35x47, but other sizes can be ordered as well. Some large images are only available in the 35x47 size and some of the long and narrow images are printed at a custom size. The image coverage will be an appropriate maximum with a small border for each print size.

The pigments and paper used for the prints are archival, but as is the case with any work of fine art, it is recommended that these prints be framed with conservation glass using acid-free mounting and framing materials.

Each image in "The Art of Remote Sensing" collection is printed in a limited edition series of 250 prints with the exception of the ChicagoRed image which is printed in a series of 400.

Fine Art Paper (Photo Rag by Hahnemühle)
A smooth bright white 100% rag based paper specifically designed for artists. This paper provides excellent image sharpness and optimum color graduation. Prints are produced using the Giclée process.

Metallic Paper (Kodak Professional ENDURA)
A museum quality color negative paper with a glossy finish and unique metallic appearance creating images with exceptional depth. This paper uses a Kodak combination of film laminate layers that results in striking, three-dimensional images on an ultra-bright background. Its professional emulsion set provides excellent sharpness, brightness, and color saturation. Prints are produced using a LightJet laser process.

Canvas
Canvas with the look and feel of original, hand painted art with a textured, natural colored look and feel. All images printed on canvas are delivered stretched over wooden stretcher bars. Canvases are museum-wrapped leaving the image visible on the sides and top/bottom. Float framing is also available for stretched canvases. These frames give the impression that the canvas is suspended within the frame, leaving the museum wrap still visible.
